4 films for the 2024 edition.

This week saw the announcements of the official and parallel selections for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, and we had the pleasure of contributing to the films ‘Emilia Perez‘ by Jacques Audiard, ‘À son Image‘ by Thierry De Pretti, ‘Animale‘ by Emma Benestan, and ‘Marcello Mio‘ by Christophe Honoré.

These works presented in different sections of the festival testify to the diversity and richness in our collaborations with contemporary French cinema.

French Cinema in the Spotlight: Highlights.

Some directors regularly return in our collaborations, illustrating enduring and fruitful relationships. Jacques Audiard, for example, is a regular in the official competition at Cannes, with films like ‘Les Olympiades’ (2021), ‘Dheepan‘ (2015), and ‘Rust And Bone‘ (2012), all benefiting from our contribution in visual effects and/or image post-production.

Similarly, other renowned French filmmakers have entrusted MPC Paris to bring their artistic vision to life. Names such as Laurent Cantet with ‘L’Atelier‘ (2017) and ‘Entre Les Murs‘ (2008), Bertrand Bonello with ‘Zombi Child‘ (2019), ‘Saint-Laurent‘ (2014), and ‘L’Apollonide‘ (2011), and Justine Triet with the acclaimed ‘Anatomy of a Fall‘ (2023) and ‘Sibyl‘ (2019), are among those who have chosen our expertise for their cinematic projects.

Our collaboration with these talented directors and our contributions to films selected or awarded at Cannes reflect our ongoing commitment to the French film industry. We firmly believe in the importance of supporting and promoting local filmmakers, contributing to shining a spotlight on French cinema on the international stage.
