A Cesar & Technique 2023 trophy for MPC Paris

On January 9th, the Cesar awards kicked off France’s award season with a ceremony celebrating the professionals working in the technical service sector. MPC Paris was honored to be awarded the César & Technique 2023 trophy for their technical contribution to filmmaking.

In her acceptance speech, Béatrice Bauwens, director of MPC Paris and MPC Liège, compared visual effects to a marathon that is run in relays and teams and congratulated MPC’s production team and artists. Watch the moment the winners were announced in the video below.

This is the fourth time the Paris based studio has received the award over a period of eleven years, but the first time as the recently rebranded MPC. MPC Paris also has approximately ten films eligible in the best visual effects category at César.
