The 95th Oscars shortlist has been revealed and MPC is proud to have 3 films in the running for Best Visual Effects.

 Congratulations to our teams who crafted the stunning VFX of NOPE, Thirteen Lives, and Top Gun Maverick. 

10 movies will now compete in the VFX branches’ Jan. 14 “Bake-off”, where VFX Supervisors will show excerpts of their work and describe the VFX challenges.

Following the screenings, Academy members will vote to nominate five films for final Oscar® consideration. The nominations will be announced on January 24, 2023. 

The 95th Oscars® will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023 and the show will air live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
